Richard II has been King his entire life. Now, his cousin Henry Bolingbroke is seeking Richard's crown, England is in turmoil and all his subjects seem to be siding with Bolingbroke. Faced with losing everything that defined him, Richard must finally learn what it means to be a human being and not just a king.

FROM THE AUDIENCE

"[Richard II] was fantastic. Would recommend this company for any drama fan. The actors were all very good. It is easy to make the histories stories of egos and battles, but each character was acted as a full human rather than a caricature...The space is quite intimate and the audience is surrounding the actors, which made for a unique experience. The actors were so close that it really felt as if they were acting to you, rather then to a general audience."

"Richard II is really worth seeing - acting, set, costumes, lighting, sound and direction are all terrific. If you haven't yet seen this Shakespeare play, this is an excellent chance to see it."
